Translated Scope and Content
This second part of the C.5.1. series is entirely devoted to a single institution, the Joint Committee of Major International Associations. According to an undated statement, presumably dating back to 1927, this is a grouping of organizations pursuing a peaceful purpose and interested in promoting the League of Nations. The IBE is a member, as are other institutions appearing in the files of the previous section. The last letters kept date from 1947 and it seems that this Committee was condemned by UNESCO, which dealt with each of the institutions concerned. Very complete, the files in this second part make it possible to trace the activities of this Council as well as those of the IBE as a member.
This first file contains the minutes and documents of the Joint Committee of Major International Associations from 1926 to 1927.
