Le Timbre polonais BIE est né d'un contrat signé le 30 mars 1946 entre le BIE et le Ministère des postes et télégraphes de Pologne. Ce dernier a décidé l'émission de trois timbres portant les effigies de Grzegorz Piramowicz, l'intérieur de la bibliothèque des Jagellons et la Société des livres élémentaires. Ce dossier contient la correspondance entre le BIE et l'imprimerie Courvoisier, chargée de l'impression de ces timbres, de 1946 à 1947.
Translated Scope and Content
The IBE Polish Stamp was born out of a contract signed on 30 March 1946 between the IBE and the Ministry of the Post and Telegraphs of Poland. The latter decided to issue three stamps bearing the effigies of Grzegorz Piramowicz, the interior of the Jagiellonian Library and the Society of Elementary Books. This file contains the correspondence between the IBE and the Courvoisier printing house, which was responsible for printing these stamps from 1946 to 1947.
