Ce dossier contient la correspondance entre le BIE, le gouvernement suisse et les P.T.T. concernant l'impression du Timbre Père Girard, de 1942 à 1945.
Translated Scope and Content
The charity stamp bearing the effigy of Father Girard, the second in the series inaugurated by the Pestalozzi Stamp, was issued on the occasion of the sending of the one hundred thousandth volume to the prisoner of war camps in December 1941 by the IBE's Intellectual Aid Service. This file contains the correspondence between the IBE, the Swiss government and the Swiss Postal Telegraph and Telephone agency concerning the printing of the Père Girard Stamp, from 1942 to 1945.
