Durant la deuxième guerre mondiale, les pouvoirs du Conseil et du Comité exécutif avaient été confiés à un Comité de gestion, composé des représentants des pays non belligérants au Comité exécutif. Cette série complète donc les séries A.2.1 e A.3.1 pour les années 1939 à 1945. En principe, les dossiers comportent pour chacune des 13 réunions l'ordre du jour et ses documents annexes, la correspondance et le procès-verbal (malheureusement manquant pour les 5ème et 9ème réunions et présent sous la seule forme de la première version dactylographiée pour la 6ème réunion). Mais ils sont relativement minces, la masse étant surtout constituées des lettres circulaires de convocation et d'envois du procès-verbal. Ce dossier contient l'ordre du jour et la correspondance concernant la première réunion de ce Comité de gestion, le 16 décembre 1939.
Translated Scope and Content
During the Second World War, the powers of the Council and the Executive Committee had been entrusted to a Management Committee, composed of the representatives of the non-belligerent countries on the Executive Committee.
In principle, the files contain for each of the 13 meetings the agenda and its annexed documents, correspondence and minutes (unfortunately missing for the 5th and 9th meetings and present in the form of the first typewritten version only for the 6th meeting). However, they are relatively thin, the bulk being mainly made up of the circular letters of convocation and dispatch of the minutes.
This file contains the agenda and correspondence concerning the first meeting of this Management Committee, on December, 16th 1939.
