Translated Scope and Content
The files devoted to Geneva (A.1.2) include a wide variety of correspondence ranging from the sending of minutes for use at the Palais Wilson, including notes and reports. They stop in 1938, while the DIP subsidy is still included in the 1939 budget: the rest is to be found in the Swiss files (A.1.3) which also contain, until 1946, official invitations to the International Conference on Public Education. Until then, the Federal Political Department was responsible for communications with foreign countries. This file contains the correspondence relating to the actual membership of the State of Geneva to the IBE in 1929.
