Cette série contient des documents relatifs aux relations que le BIE a entretenus avec divers établissements scolaire et quelques bibliothèques. La première école concernée est l’Ecole internationale  ( de 1927 à 1964, il y a eu échange de renseignements bibliographiques et visites de l’Ecole elle-même. Les relations avec l’Ecole d’études sociales ( Mlle Butts y a donné cours et conférences tandis que des stagiaires et des diplômantes de l’Ecole de bibliothécaires sont venues en stage au BIE, tout cela entre 1927 et 1953. Les deux derniers dossiers, consacrés respectivement à la Bibliothèque nationale suisse de 1926 à 1956 (C.7.1.629) et à la Bibliothèque publique et universitaire de Genève de 1927 à 1944, ont trait avant tout aux questions du dépôt légal des publications du BIE.

This series contains documents relating to the relations that the IBE has maintained with various schools and some libraries. The first school concerned is the International School ( from 1927 to 1964 there was an exchange of bibliographical information and visits to the school itself. Relations with the School of Social Studies ( Miss Butts gave courses and lectures there, while trainees and graduates from the School of Librarians came to the IBE for training, all between 1927 and 1953. The last two files, devoted respectively to the Swiss National Library from 1926 to 1956 (C.7.1.629) and to the Geneva Public and University Library from 1927 to 1944, deal primarily with questions of the legal deposit of IBE publications.
