Cette série contient des archives intéressantes pour l’histoire de la philatélie et celle de la recherche de sous-fonds par le BIE, les dossiers concernent successivement les timbres Pestalozzi, Père Girard, Maiorescu, les timbres de service du BIE, les timbres Bello et le timbre polonais. La majorité de ces timbres ont été émis dans les années 1940, mais les documents consacrés aux timbres de service et au timbre polonais, ainsi que le premier dossier de généralités, vont jusqu’à la fin des années 1960. On peut ainsi suivre de façon systématique l’une des actions entreprises par le BIE.

This series contains archives of interest for the history of philately and the history of the IBE's search for subfunds. The files concern successively the stamps Pestalozzi, Father Girard, Maiorescu, IBE service stamps, Bello stamps and the Polish stamp. The majority of these stamps were issued in the 1940s, but the documents devoted to the service stamps and the Polish stamp, as well as the first file of generalities, go back to the end of the 1960s. This makes it possible to follow systematically one of the actions undertaken by the IBE.
